Guided tour in the Acropolis Museum Galleries

The Acropolis Museum presents in its galleries a collection of unique artifacts originating exclusively from the athenian Acropolis and its surrounding slopes. These objects, in addition to their exceptional artistic significance, serve as important testimonies to the historical events, transformations, and cultural developments that shaped the Sacred Rock, its monuments, and the city of ancient Athens. Through guided tours led by the Museum’s archaeologists, students are invited to explore the exhibition in a structured way, gradually discovering its hidden aspects. Along the way, they will encounter narratives that interweave mythology and history, offering insights into the lives of gods and mortals as reflected through the Museum’s exhibits.

The program is designed and implemented by the Educational Programs Department of the Acropolis Museum.
